Anti-CD22 Antibody Profile

Antigen: CD22 (BL-CAM)
Relevance: CD22 is first expressed in the cytomplasm of pre- and pro- B cells.  CD22 is broadly expressed in normal and neoplastic B cells and absent from other leucocytes and tissues.   CD22 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and serves as an adhesion receptor for sialic acid-bearing ligands expressed on erythrocytes and all leukocyte classes.  It also associates with tyrosine kinases and play a role in signal transduction and B-cell activation.  CD22 is strongly expressed in hairy cell leukaemias
Clone: 4KB128
Subclass: IgG1, kappa
Applications: Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections), FACS
Immunogen: B cell lymphoma cells
Reactivity: Human
Species raised in: Mouse
Fusion partner: NS-1
Recommended growth conditions: RPMI 1640 + 10% FCS + penicillin (100U/ml) + streptomycin (100mg/l) + glutamine (2mM) + HAT
