Anti-Leu1 Antibody Profile

Antigen: Leu 1 (CD5)
Relevance: CD5 is a surface glycoprotein present on peripheral T cells (>95%) and B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukaemia cells that binds CD72. Absence of the CD5 marker on childhood ALL cells is associated with a more favourable prognosis. H65 has reactivity towards 85-95% peripheral blood T lymphocytes and 95% thymocytes.
