CRT Discovery Laboratories is a dedicated capability to identify and develop small molecule and biological cancer therapies from the discovery stage as far as in vivo proof of principle studies. However this is not the only source of drug discovery and intellectual property for CRT.
Cancer Research UK funds a number of Research Institutes and Drug Discovery programmes across the UK and CRT, though its relationship with the charity, is offered first commercialisation rights to the wealth of oncology related discoveries arising from these Institutes.
