CRT is now looking for an individual to assist with the administration of our business-related database and support the Business Team with administration of various project and activity related processes.
The successful candidate will be experienced with database administration and Microsoft applications such as Excel. Specific training will be provided for the CRT database, Inteum. Additionally, you will possess excellent communication and organisation skills and can demonstrate proactive project management and administration skills.

We are currently recruiting Research Scientists and Research Officers of all experience levels into the following specialties:
In vivo Pharmacology and Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK)

- Bioanalysis and evaluation of the pharmacokinetic profiles of novel agents
- Determination of pharmacodynamic endpoints of efficacy of small molecule and biological cancer therapies in appropriate in vivo models
Biochemistry and High Throughput Screening

- Biochemical assay development for potency and mechanism of action studies
- Prosecution of cell based assays for HTS and biomarker studies
- Automated liquid handling, HTS, compound storage and data management.
X-ray Crystallography

Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Production and characterization of crystallization-grade protein for structural analysis
- Crystallization screening and optimization of protein-ligand complexes
- X-ray data collection and structure determination
Applicants should ideally be qualified to degree, masters, PhD or equivalent level. It is not a requirement for candidates for the DM0708 positions to hold a home office personal licence.
In addition, the successful candidates will possess excellent communication and organisation skills, and will be required to contribute positively to interactive collaborations, which take place not only within CRT, but also with Cancer Research UK laboratories and other external organisations. Knowledge of cancer biology and the drug discovery process, as well as industrial experience would be desirable.
Salaries for the advertised posts will be dependent upon experience and the grade of position.

Reporting to the CEO, HR provides strategic support to the Executive Team and line management to meet the HR related requirements of the business needs, objectives and operating environments.
Key responsibilities include managing the ongoing change programme to achieve a people focused management cadre, advising the CEO and Executive Team on all HR matters including succession planning and annual salary reviews and benchmarking, supporting the growth of CRT through managing and delivering the required people resourcing and recruitment and ensuring the provision of appropriate resources and facilities.
