| Relevance: | hACF1/BAZ1A is a subunit of the ATP-dependent chromatin-remodelling factor (ACF) complex, and the ISWI CHRAC remodelling complex. In the ACF complex, hACF1/BAZ1A influences the nucleosome remodelling activity of the SNF2h ATPase. In the CHRAC complex, hACF1/BAZ1A is thought to target CHRAC to heterochromatin. hACF1/BAZ1A has several conserved domains including a bromodomain, BAZ, PHD finger, WAC, and WAKZ. |
