| Relevance: | ACF1 is a subunit of the ATP-dependent chromatin-remodelling factor (ACF) complex, and the ISWI CHRAC remodelling complex. In the ACF complex, mACF1 influences the nucleosome remodelling activity of the SNF2h ATPase. In the CHRAC complex, mACF1 is thought to target CHRAC to heterochromatin. The ACF1 protein in mouse has several conserved domains including a bromodomain, BAZ, PHD finger, WAC, and WAKZ. |
