| Antigen: | Bromodeoxyuridine (BrdU) |
| Clone: | Bu20a |
| Subclass | IgG1 |
| Species Raised In: | Mouse |
| Immunogen: | Bromodeoxyuridine conjugated to BSA |
| Cross Reactivity: | Human |
| Applications: | FACS, Paraffin embedded |
| Growth Conditions: | RPMI 1640 + 10% FCS + penicillin (100U/ml) + streptomycin (100mg/l) + glutamine (2mM) + HAT |
| Fusion Partner: | NS1 |
| Relevance: | BrdU is an analogue of thymidine and is taken up into the DNA of proliferating cells. Bu20a works well in immunohistochemistry to identify cells in tissue sections or cytospin preparations that have incorporated BrdU. It is also useful to identify cells in S phase during FACS analysis. |

| Notes: | Please note this cell line has not been weaned out of HAT. Ultroser G can be used at 1% if the cells are not growing well. |
