Anti Cdk1 (cdc2) Clone 17 (A17) Profile

Antigen: Cyclin dependent kinase 1 (Cdk1, cdc2)
Clone: 17 (A17)
Subclass IgG2a
Species Raised In:

Balb/c

Immunogen: A carboxy-terminal fragment starting at methionine 85 of p34 cdc2 (Xenopus laevis).
Epitope:

Residues 225-230 of Xenopus CDK1 (motif NXXWPE).

Cross Reactivity:

Human, Mouse, Rat, Amphibian, Chick

Applications: ELISA, Immunoprecipitation, Paraffin embedded, Western
Growth Conditions:

DMEM + 5% FCS

Fusion Partner: Sp2
Relevance: Cdk1 (Cdc2) is a serine/threonine kinase which forms complexes with cyclins A and B which then phosphorylate a variety of target substrates to enable cell cycle progression. Therefore, Cdk1 is a marker for proliferating tumour cells.
