| Relevance: | Factor IX (or Christmas factor) is one of the serine proteases of the coagulation system and belongs to peptidase family S1. Deficiency of this protein causes hemophilia B. The high affinity of the clone RFF-IX/1 for factor IX enables the antibody to be used in the production of factor IX depleted plasma for use as a diagnostic reagent. |
