Anti Polyoma virus early antigens Clone PyC Profile

Antigen: Polyoma virus early antigens
Clone: PyC
Subclass IgG2b rat
Species Raised In:

Rat

Immunogen: Polyoma virus-transformed Wistar rat fibroblast cell line Py REWA5/T1A1.
Applications: Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, Western
Growth Conditions:

RPMI 1640 + 5% FCS

Fusion Partner: NS1
Relevance: The mouse polyoma virus (Py) is an oncogenic virus, which encodes for three early proteins, large, middle and small T (tumour) antigen. PyC allows the detection and isolation of all three viral T antigens.

Notes:

Large T antigen: 100kDa, Middle T antigen: 55kDa, Small T antigen 23kDa. These antigens indicate a nuclear and cytoplasmic localisation in cells infected or transformed by polyoma virus.
