| Relevance: | The transparency of the juvenile zebrafish and its genetic advantages make it an attractive model for the study of intestinal differentiation and renewal. This antibody labels the brush border / glycocalyxof intestinal absorptive cells (apical ends of microvilli). This antibody is not reactive with goblet cells; thus 4E8 can be used as a marker for brush border cells. |
