The DNA repair protein, O(6)-alkylguanine-DNA alkyltransferase (human version: MGMT) can confer resistance to DNA alkylating agents e.g. Temozolomide, DTIC, Carmustine, etc. Lomeguatrib is a highly potent inactivator of MGMT and can be used to further investigate mechanisms of resistance often seen with these cancer chemotherapeutics. This small molecule reagent opportunity is available for licensing or for sale as finished product.
